There’s hell to pay in EastEnders as Max Branning (Jake Wood) is on the warpath and he has Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) in his sights – but how far is he prepared to go?
Elsewhere, Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) is unnerved by his new stalker who has a very specific interest in his family while the aftermath of Chantelle Atkins’ death continues as Gray (Toby Alexander-Smith) takes cruel action against Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths).
There’s also big new tension for the Mitchells and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) has a secret.
Monday September 28
Isaac is reeling about his meeting with the school over drugs and it doesn’t take long before Phil clashes with him. Denise jumps in to defend Isaac and points out Phil’s history.
Ian is determined to land a catering contract so hosts his business meeting. Charmaine is put off by his enthusiasm. When Bobby arrives, Charmaine realises who he is. Ian capitalises on Bobby’s Lucy Beale Foundation idea but Max storms in and accuses Ian of stealing his life savings. Max later threatens him – he will destroy him if he doesn’t pay up.
Kheerat tries to explain himself to a grieving Karen. Frankie is occupying Oliver for Tina while they wait for Mick. When Mick arrives, he spots Frankie taking photos. He later sees how many she has taken of the family and he warns her to delete them.
Rainie and Stuart are saying their farewells ahead of their wedding.
Tuesday September 29
Danny accuses Callum of stitching him up. Phil arrives and Danny tells him that Callum is a grass. How will Callum respond?
Stuart is excited about the wedding but Rainie has a dress disaster. Stuart waits in the hearse – and he gets locked in due to an electrical fault.
Ben is angry with Callum about being late and this leads to more tension. Sheree thanks Denise for defending Isaac. When Sheree brings up Chantelle’s death, it hits a chord and when Jack later comes looking for her, she is nowhere to be found…
Max tells Bobby that he wants to offer support for the Foundation and he has called the Gazette. Ian warns Max off and Max denies it before issuing a threat.
Karen is searching through old family photos and emotions run high for them. They lean in to kiss as Gray enters.
Thursday October 1
Jack and Amy bump into Isaac and Jack threatens Isaac. Amy is worried that Isaac will lose his job because of her lies. Later, Jack confronts Denise, accusing her of having an affair.
Callum struggles after the fatal car accident and has been set up with a support officer. Frankie wants a full time job so Kathy sets her a challenge – so she hosts a Drag Bingo. Mick is suspicious when Frankie questions him about his family.
Jags is worrying about his job as a rent collector so Habiba tells him to stand up for what he believes in. When Jags stands up to Suki, she shows her true colours.
Bobby shows Ian his plans when Ian gets some news. Kathy has a go at Ian for missing their meeting about wills with the solicitor. As they go to sign the wills, Ian gets a big shock. Later, Ian tells Max he will have the money in a couple of weeks – but Max then takes action.
Friday October 2
Linda, Max and Sharon team up for the Drag Bingo. Mick is anxious that Linda is around so much booze. Linda has a moment of weakness but Max catches her. Linda opens up to him about her struggles.
Tina is happy with Frankie’s efforts and offers her a job and later, Tina goes in for a kiss when there is a moment between them.
Gray reminds Mitch that he was always against him and calls him a terrible father. Mitch breaks down in tears.
