It’s a tense morning for many, as A Level results day for students in England is upon us.

In just a few short hours, young people up and down the country will get their results in the wake of a mass outcry in Scotland over the way their results were decided, after exams were pulled owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

With close to 125,000 students in Scotland due to have their results upgraded after the complaints, here’s what you need to know about when A level results will be released and how you can appeal them.

What time will A Level results be released?

From 8am today, Thursday August 13, students will be able to access their results.

They will be available via email, the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service’s online portal, and in person at your school or college.

If you get your results from your school, you’ll have to maintain social distancing and maintain other safety measures in place.

How can you appeal your results?

If you want to challenge your results, you’ll have to ask your school to challenge them on your behalf.

Keep in mind that there’s a chance your chosen university could accept you even if you don’t get the results you hoped for, and you can always contact the university to double check.
