Britain’s favourite ‘no face-to-face contact’ sex position has been revealed. As the nation adjusts to the risks of coronavirus transmission in the bedroom, sexual health charity the Terence Higgins Trust says the most googled sex position that doesn’t require face-to-face contact is “doggy” with over 741,000 monthly searches. In second place comes “reverse cow girl” with 381,300 monthly searches, followed by “69” with 244,400.

James Blunt gets scurvy from meat-only diet 

Singer songwriter James Blunt says he got scurvy after going on a meat-only diet to spite his vegan friends. The 46-year-old crooner says he says he dined on mince and chicken for eight weeks but ended up being told by a doctor he was showing symptoms of scurvy. To fix the vitamin deficiency, he starting dranking orange juice every night for its vitamin C and “nearly developed acid reflux”.

Sob in the corner to get a husband 

In 1958, a women's magazine published a list of the 129 tips to finding a husband. The tips include “sobbing quietly in a corner” and “learning to paint and setting up an easel outside an engineering school”. Another piece of advice in McCall’s magazine is to “volunteer for jury duty”, though what kind of men you might meet is not explained.
