Meghan Markle celebrates her birthday today, in what’s already been a year of great change for her and husband Prince Harry.
The couple were married in 2018 and welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison, in May 2019.
However this year has seen the young family relocate to North America as they begin a new life after stepping down from their roles as senior royals at the start of 2020.

What age is Meghan Markle?
Meghan Markle will be turning 39 on August 4.
She was born in 1981 in Canooga Park, Los Angeles, California, grew up in Hollywood and found acting fame for her role as Rachel Zane in Suits, playing the role in the legal drama from 2011 until 2017.
She met Prince Harry on a blind date in 2016 – with the couple becoming engaged in 2017, upon which time she retired from acting.
They were married on May 19 2018 in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle – with Archie Harrison being born on May 6 2019.
Can Meghan Markle still be called the Duchess of Sussex?
Both Meghan and Prince Harry have retained the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which they were given on their wedding day.
However, the couple have dropped the HRH – His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness – which preceded their names during their time as senior royals.
Instead they are now known as Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
Although the pair were not stripped of their titles, Harry and Meghan no longer use their titles because they will no longer formally work for the Royal Family, or represent the Queen.
However Harry remains a Prince and is still sixth in line to the throne.
