Kerry Katona is one proud mum as she praised her daughter Heidi following her elimination from The Voice Kids last night.
Heidi left the competition along with Rachel after their mentor Paloma Faith decided to take Dara through to the hotly-anticipted semi-final.
Proving she’s a good sport, Kerry shared a montage of pictures of Heidi’s time on the show and wished the remaining contestants good luck.
‘Sooo super proud of all three of these brave, amazing, talented young people!’ Kerry enthused.
‘What an amazing time heidi and I had filming @thevoicekidsuk and wishing every single one of you the best of luck in the future!
‘#followyourdreams#nevergiveup@heidikatona 🎤❤️🎤❤️ @daramcnicholl you smashed it!! And Rachel your amazing.’
Last week, former Atomic Kitten star Kerry revealed she almost pulled Heidi from her audition.
Kerry and Heidi appeared on Loose Women, with Heidi saying: ‘It was really exciting but I was really nervous to do it because I have separation anxiety with my mum and just general anxiety I was feeling that day I guess.’
Kerry continued: ‘It was when we were backstage, she was really excited about the whole day.
‘Then they came up and were like, “Right Heidi, it’s your turn now”. ‘And she just burst into tears and I went “Agh!” I was like, “Heidi, if it’s going to upset you this much let’s go home baby girl”.
‘The next thing I know I’m standing next to Emma and she walks out and her nose is red and her eyes are red.’
The Voice Kids continues on Saturday at 7.25pm on ITV.
