Katie Price has confirmed she is not engaged to boyfriend Carl Woods, so we can put the bunting down.
The 42-year-old whipped fans up into a frenzy last night as she shared a now-deleted video on Instagram, telling fans the Love Island star had popped the question while on holiday in Turkey.
In the dark clip, a voice – thought to be the mum-of-five’s – could be heard asking: ‘What did you ask me babe?’ to which a man, presumably Carl, responded: ‘Will you marry me?’
‘Katie’ then continued: ‘And I said yes!’
In the caption, she added: ‘Omg @carljwoods just proposed to me I said yes. Same time as @paulisthejoker proposed to @lorscal_phibrows and she said yes.’
But it turns out the whole thing was a joke, so we can pause our hat shopping – for now.
Taking to her Instagram story, Katie penned: ‘Last night fun with @Paulisthejoker, not really engaged just comedy fun.’
The couple have been dating for around one month, after being introduced by mutual pals.
And they’ve been inseparable ever since, packing on all the PDA on romantic dates and sharing loved-up selfies on social media.
Despite only seeing each other for a matter of weeks, Katie has branded her beau ‘the one’, insisting she sees a ‘future’ with him.
Defending their romance in a YouTube video, she told fans: ‘We’re not going to have anyone try and ruin us, make up stories, this and that, it’s not gonna happen.
‘I love this man, he is my today, my future, my everything.
‘We’ve both been there, done it, worn the t-shirt, we’re at the stage in our lives where we know what we want out of love.’
The I’m A Celebrity star also heaped praise on Carl for staying by her side as she recovered from a horror injury.
Just days into their Turkish holiday – along with Katie’s children, Junior and Princess – she broke both her feet during an incident at an amusement park.
Doctors informed her that she will be off her feet for the next few months, with her son spotted pushing her around in a wheelchair.
Confirming the injury on the ‘gram, she thanked Carl for being ‘amazing’ and looking after her so well.
‘Yes it’s true I have broken my ankles and my feet,’ she wrote alongside a snap of her legs in casts.
‘I have to have both feet operated on and pins put in been told I won’t be able to walk for 3 to 6 months, @carljwoods is being amazing looking after me.’
