Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) will do just about anything to keep his secret hidden in Emmerdale, and it appears as if that includes bribing Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) into keeping quiet.
Jamie revealed to Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) that he was responsible for the hit-and-run that left Moira (Natalie J Robb) fighting for her life.
In spite of everything, the pair reconciled, but matter were complicated when Nate overheard a conversation between Jamie and Kim (Claire King).
Desperate to keep him quiet, Belle decided to reveal who was responsible for Moira’s hit and run, and it seems as if this revelation continues to cause problems in the coming episodes.
Belle decides to take it upon herself to reveal her relationship with Jamie to the family, and it’s safe to say that members of said family are taken aback.
The young woman then leaves to call Zak (Steve Halliwell), and Jamie approaches to reassure her that, although Nate hasn’t yet agreed to keep shtum, he’ll do whatever it takes to keep him on side.
What happens next remains to be seem, but Nate later comes face-to-face with Belle and reveals that Jamie attempted to bribe him into keeping quiet — and it’s safe to say that Belle is fuming.
With Jamie having seemingly exhausted all of his options, he tells Belle that it’s now up to her to talk Nate round.
The question is: will she be able to do so?
