It looks like time is running out for Faith (Kirsty Mitchell) and Lev (Uriel Emil)’s son Luka in tonight’s Casualty. They were recently told that the treatment he’s been having for cancer hasn’t worked and now they get the awful news that there are no options left for him. Faith starts looking for any last-ditch treatments that could still offer hope, and Rash (Neet Mohan) offers a possible lifeline – but will it work for Luka?
Lev, meanwhile, deals with his feelings by shouting at his colleagues and pushing Faith away. He can’t help but be drawn to the gay dating app that we’ve seen him use before. He’s looking for someone to talk to and a shoulder to cry on – but can he resist temptation?
Jacob (Charles Venn) is getting on well with Nate (Tim Pritchett) and his sister Tina (Adele James), with the three of them developing a close friendship and perhaps a bit of a romance beginning between Jacob and Tina. Jacob has an interview for the clinical nurse manager job vacated by Charlie, but when the interview is brought forward unexpectedly, he doesn’t feel prepared and thinks he’s messed up. There’s worse to come when Nate is rushed into the hospital with breathing difficulties. As Nate’s condition deteriorates, Jacob questions whether he let his friend down when he needed him most.
David (Jason Durr) is excitedly looking forward to his wife Rosa (Jacey Salles) returning home after a long visit to her mother abroad. But he’s nervous, too – Rosa had to leave so soon after they were married, David’s not sure whether things will be awkward between them. Marty (Shaheen Jafargholi) is on hand to reassure him – and to take on the task of preparing a homecoming that Rosa will never forget.
Fenisha (Olivia D’Lima) and Ethan (George Rainsford) seem to be getting on well after bonding last week…
Patients o’ the week, apart from Nate, are feuding siblings who are hurt in an accident at their father’s funeral. As they recover on adjacent beds will they also be able to mend their broken relationship?
