Health officials in the Philippines had to issue a swift correction after President Rodrigo Duterte advised the public to disinfect face masks with petrol. During a speech, Duterte said: “Drench it in gasoline or diesel, and that son of a bitch Covid won’t stand a chance. Just find some gasoline [and] dip your hand [with the mask] in it.” A health official said: “It’s probably one of his jokes.”

Elvis impersonator breaks record 

An Elvis Presley impersonator has set a new Guinness World Record by performing the rock legend’s songs for 50 hours, 50 minutes and 50 seconds. Kjell Henning Bjornstad, also known as Kjell Elvis, sang at a bar in Oslo, Norway. In a hoarse voice afterwards, he said it was the last time he will attempt a singing marathon world record.

Twins to get pregnant at same time with same man

Two women widely regarded as the world's most identical twins are planning to get pregnant at the same time with the same man. Anna and Lucy DeCinque, from Perth, Australia told ITV: "We shower together we make up together we go to bed at the same time, we eat together, we're hungry together, everything is just the same.” They also share the same boyfriend, who will impregnate them both.
