As preparations for Kyle Kelly’s (Adam Rickitt) funeral get underway in Hollyoaks, Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) opens up to Nancy (Jessica Fox) about a time when he contemplated taking his own life.
It’s been a tough couple of weeks for Nancy, who’s struggled to come to terms with the fact that Kyle took his own life.
With his funeral approaching, she makes clear that she’s not planning on attending the service.
Meanwhile, Darren continually cancels his therapy sessions, and after some time to think, he heads off to speak to Nancy.
The animosity is no doubt rife, given that Nancy still holds him responsible for Kyle’s death, but Darren proceeds to open up.
He discusses how he once attempted to take him own life.
Viewers will know that, when Darren attempted to take his own life, Kyle was present, and managed to stop him from doing so .
Nancy is shocked by her ex’s revelation, and thus she urges him to speak to Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) about this, before revealing that if he fails to do so, then she’ll do it for him.
Will Darren open up to Mandy?
Or will Nancy do it on his behalf?
Later, Cindy (Stephanie Waring), Luke (Gary Lucy) and Mandy arrive at the Osbornes, but they ultimately fail to get Nancy out of bed.
