Coronavirus news live: 15 more hospital deaths in England and Brits may have to quarantine on return from Spain after spike in cases

A further 15 people have died in hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus, bringing the UK hospital death toll to 33,798.

All 15 patients passed away in England, with Scotland and Wales reporting no new fatalities in hospitals.

Meanwhile, Spain is reportedly on the verge of being taken off the government’s ‘safe’ travel list after a surge of coronavirus cases.

It means Brits who have booked a holiday could face quarantine for two-weeks on their return under the government’s ‘traffic light’ system.
