Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) is about to find herself on the receiving end of a vicious attack by abuser Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) in Coronation Street when he discovers that she has gone bhind his back and visited his tormented wife Yasmeen (Shelley King) in prison.
But when Tim (Joe Duttine) walks in to be confronted by the aggressive stand off, will he realise the truth about his dad and step in to defend Sally – or will he be manipulated once more into believing that Geoff is the wronged one?
The altercation comes about as Sally continues to be persuaded by Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) that Yasmeen is the victim and Geoff has been abusing her for months.
After then learning from Cathy Matthews (Melanie Hill) that Yasmeen was locked in one of Geoff’s magic boxes, Sally decides the time has come for her to speak to Yasmeen.
Visiting her in prison, Sally is horrified as she hears about Geoff’s depravity and as she arrives home, she makes Geoff completely aware of her disgust in him.
Geoff snaps with rage when he finds out that Sally has been to see Yasmeen and, losing control, he becomes threatening.
Tim walks in just as Sally is being intimidated by his vile dad – but as Geoff riles to Tim that Sally has betrayed them by taking Yasmeen’s side, how will Tim respond?
And if he continues to side with Geoff, is this the end of his marriage to Sally?
