Here’s your week ahead in Neighbours (Picture: Channel 5)

It’s a week of shocks and big decisions in Neighbours as Chloe gets life-changing news, Elly makes a big move and Emmett’s behaviour leaves his foster family aghast.

Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) is hit with a double whammy of a shocker – she realises her Huntington’s might be progressing, oh and she’s pregnant. The latter completely blindsides her after she and Pierce (Tim Robards) made a decision not to have their own family. So now they have an even bigger decision to make…

Elly (Jodi Anasta) also makes a huge decision – she’s leaving Ramsay Street and heading for a new life with Shaun (Brad Moller). But how will Bea (Bonnie Anderson) react to more loss from her life?

Emmett (Justin Ezra) is desperately trying to fit in but trying too hard ends in a disaster that leaves one Ramsay Street resident badly injured and him in very hot water. Will he be forced to leave?

Roxy (Zima Anderson) needs to do some backside kissing to get Sheila (Colette Mann) onside, but just as she thinks she’s cracked it, all hell breaks loose.

And something is going on with Shane (Nick Coghlan), but what’s got him so wound up?

Here’s what’s ahead in Neighbours.

Chloe’s heartbreaking baby dilemma

A momentary mix up and memory lapse sees Chloe petrified her Huntington’s is advancing. But she makes another shocking discovery – she’s pregnant. While for most this might be amazing news, for Chloe it means a heartbreaking decision lies ahead – with her Huntington’s possibly progressing, how can she bring a new life into the world? At first she decides to keep it a secret, but eventually realises she needs to come clean to Pierce as she needs to take the test. Chloe has to face she may not have long with her child and also consider that she may have passed it on. Now she has to decide whether or not to continue with the pregnancy.

Chloe turns to Elly for advice, and Elly helps her see that perhaps things aren’t as bad as she imagines. It helps Chloe reach a decision – she wants to wait until the 10 week scan. And so they plan to wait.

Elly’s off

Shaun makes a huge proposal to Elly and with everything that’s happened to her in the last year, it’s one she cannot just turn down without considering. Life in Switzerland would be a big change, but it could be everything she needs. A fresh start.

Elly is starting to think it’s the right move for her, but has no idea how to break the news to Bea. She does her best to cushion the blow and Bea seems to take it well, giving her sister all her support as she knows it’s what she needs. But deep down Bea is devastated, she’s losing the person she loves the most. Karl and Susan arrive back in time to say their goodbyes, and Elly and Shaun depart Ramsay Street for their new life.

Emmett’s drone disaster

Things just seem to be going from bad to worse for poor Emmett. All he wants to do is settle in and feel accepted in his new life, but everything he does seems to end in disaster. He’s finding the extra tutoring to bring him up to speed pretty tough to handle so Aaron and David decide he needs cheering up. They invite friends over but sadly this instead has the adverse effect as suddenly Emmett feels like he has to be the life and soul of the party, making them all think he’s cool. He begs Hendrix to loan him his drone so that he can entertain his pals but things go drastically wrong when Louis gets involved and it crashes into Sheila, who is left injured and in need of medical attention. But Emmett allows the blame to fall on drone owner Hendrix, who later points the finger at Emmett who is forced to take the heat. What will happen to him?

What’s happening to Shane?

Shane is not dealing with the stress of uni very well, particularly with Sheila asking him to work more and more. He’s getting even more annoyed that Ned seems to be living a life of luxury on the money Dipi loaned him and is so wound up he accidentally spills the beans to Yashvi. But Yashvi turns on him instead as he realises he’s created a big problem for himself.

Meanwhile, as Mackenzie spends time recuperating at number 30, she receives a visit from doting boyfriend Richie. But Shane seems strangely keen to meet with the lad himself. Why is Shane so wound up at the moment and what does he want from Richie?

Roxy ruins her chances

All Roxy has to do to get in Sheila’s good books is play nice, but can she do that? Can she heck. She is determined to get Kyle’s grandmother on side, but it’s not coming from the heart and that’s her undoing. She sets about making her a batch of muffins, but while doing so she has a good old rant to Harlow about how ridiculous Sheila is being. And do you think oblivious Roxy checks who is in listening distance when she begins to let rip? Of course she doesn’t, and Sheila hears every word.

Bea set to go off the rails?

While Bea has told Elly she’s happy for her big sister for her big move, secretly she’s grieving. She can’t bear to say goodbye at the airport and instead lets Elly leave after goodbyes at the house. She is crippled with sadness as she watches Elly and Aster go. With everything she’s been through in the last year and what she’s lost, will Bea be able to cope?

Scenes air from Monday 27th July on Channel 5.
