A man in Austria has been fined nearly £500 for farting loudly in front of police officers. Police in Vienna said the uncooperative man pushed out a “massive intestinal wind apparently with full intent”. They added: “Of course no one is reported for accidentally letting one go.”

UK hotel overrun by cows during lockdown  

A hotel and restaurant temporarily closed due to Covid-19 has been overrun by a herd of cows. The Motat House in Acton Trussell, near Stafford, England, said a dozen cows were discovered wandering through the outside seating area as preparations for re-opening began. “We wondered if they thought they had herd immunity,” said a spokesman.

Godzilla? Is that you?

A balloon-like object in the skies over Japan has prompted online speculation of UFOs and Godzilla. Footage shot in the northeastern city of Sendai showed the object above a cross, on which propellers seemed to be turning. One tweeter said it could be spreading Covid-19, adding, “This gives me a very bad feeling, as if Godzilla might suddenly appear.”
